WHAT I NOTICED…

I saw a white blob in the middle of a rainstorm. As I got closer, I realized it was a white rabbit. Excitement got the better of me but I wasn’t in a place to take a picture or video since I was pulling into school to pick up my son. I got goosebumps and could feel the magic in the moment!

I told myself, if the bunny is still there when I get back, that’s a sign from the universe, and I will make a trip (even in the rain!) to get a video. 

The universe is always conspiring in your favor and this day was no different! The white rabbit was still in the grass, riding out the from while nibbling on a snack.

We walked over to where the rabbit was and just watched with excitement. Kids need to see and experience nature just as much as adults. The bunny looked over at us and I just melted from how beautiful it was with big black rings around the eyes and mouth. 

FOLKLORE & SYMBOLISM…

White rabbits invoke a sense of curiosity. They are a symbol of abundance, new life, new paths. The white itself is divine in color so seeing a white rabbit is often considered a sign from the spiritual realm. Even in certain cultures, rabbits are considered lucky and a good omen. 

The rabbit seeking shelter from the storm, snacking on grass, is a sign to rest, recover, prepare for the journey and adventure arriving soon.

MY REFLECTION…

There have only been 2 moments in my life that have stopped me dead in my tracks. Once when I saw a white horse at the top of a mountain that looked right at me and when I saw this white rabbit, who also looked right at me. 

After the white horse, my life took a crazy turn for the good and hasn’t ever looked back. The white rabbit feels exactly the same. Even since filming this video, so many amazing great things have happened that it’s hard to keep count.

But every day I’m making time to appreciate this life, my loved ones, and the lessons and blessings that got me here. Every day I’m choosing to take a chance on what brings my joy no matter the outcome. Having faith is taking a step, not knowing what comes afterwards, but knowing it will be there and will lead you down your highest path.
