“When you see a sunflower with bees, the universe is asking you to get some sunshine & downtime for you AND your loved ones!”
WHAT I NOTICED…
Walking through a field of sunflowers is a yearly tradition in my family. This pumpkin patch specifically is where my husband proposed and our love journey began. I’ve never noticed bees here before but 2025 was different. There were bees EVERY WHERE deep in the sunflower patch.
FOLKLORE & SYMBOLISM…
Bees symbolize community, abundance, and working together. They are often seen as messengers between worlds, and many cultures viewed them as signs of purpose, cooperation, and the sweetness that comes from patience and effort.
Sunflowers are symbols of joy, hope, and resilience. Their connection to the sun is a reminder to seek the light, while their many seeds have linked them to abundance and growth.
Together, bees and sunflowers symbolize balance, connection, and growth. The bee gathers nourishment while helping the sunflower thrive.
MY REFLECTION…
Whenever I notice bees, I instantly slow down and assess my surroundings. I don’t want myself or others to get stung while also protecting the bees and their environments. Sunflowers have always been a favorite of mine and to experience their beauty, you literally must stand outside in the sunshine. This day, when we saw the bees in the sunflower patch, I felt like this was calling us to slow down and take it all in. The bees weren’t swarming us, they were chilling. And we should, too.
YOUR TURN TO NOTICE…
