What I Noticed: Black Cat

“When a black cat stops to watch you, it’s a sign to trust your intuition.”

WHAT I NOTICED…

Previously, on a weekend adventure with my family, we got lost and needed to stop & recenter. We pulled into a business parking lot where this black cat came out of nowhere and started meowing at us. He definitely got our attention!

FOLKLORE & SYMBOLISM…

Black cats remain a large part of superstition lore around the world and in many cultures. From bad luck, witchcraft, and paranormal activities, you can see how these felines get a bad reputation.

MY REFLECTION…

For me, this black cat was a sign to trust my intuition. To stop. Regroup. And figure out the path forward.

After taking a quick video of this cat as proof (no one would believe us!), we got back on the road, giggling about this interaction all the way home.

It’s almost like the cat was meowing at us to “go home, this is as far as you need to go!” The most amazing part of all is that it happened on a #Caturday  🐈‍⬛

The black cat was right, though, it WAS time to head home before we could get lost any further. And if it “felt like a sign” it was definitely a sign! No bad omens here! Thanks sweet kitty!
